Getting Started With Bookkeeping

We start by looking at all of your business structure, accounts, compensation, number of employees to identify an appropriate plan. If applicable, we will review your current internal bookkeeping procedures and make recommendations.

Monthly Bookkeeping

We take over your bookkeeping and provide you with monthly reports. In most cases we get statements directly from banks and credit card provider. Other information can be emailed. We review your information for accuracy, balance your credit card and bank accounts. You can call, email or schedule an in-person meeting to discuss any of your questions.

Information For Accountant

We handle all State and Federal tax filings on your behalf, including sales tax and payroll liabilities. We provide you with financial reports and files needed for your accountant to process your year end taxes.

Founded by Mike Hagedorn with the goal of utilizing today’s advanced cloud based technology with traditional Bookkeeping and Payroll processing. By using new technologies such as cloud-based accounting, real-time communication, advanced cell phone applications, 24/7/365 remote access, and secure electronic record storage, we are able to offer superior services at affordable prices. While other local Bookkeepers continue to work on the principle of Classic Bookkeeping Models, we are excited to be part of the next level Bookkeeping experience.

About The Owner

Mike Hagedorn is the founder, owner, and operations manager of Q Bookkeeping & Payroll. Mike is a long-time entrepreneur and has spent the past 22 years as the Operations Manager of SF Cash Register where he gained experience in all areas of business development and finance. He has also been involved in founding and developing several other local small business ventures. Throughout his career with SF Cash Register he helped more than 100 businesses with their bookkeeping, payroll and financial structuring.

Mike has a keen sense for growing revenue, refining operations, and developing people. Mike has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Business Administration. He is knowledgeable in a variety of different accounting, bookkeeping, payroll functions, and software. Mike is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and is excited to utilize his past experiences to help new and existing small businesses with their Bookkeeping needs.
